Hello! Welcome to the first Year 2 blog of this academic year. This blog is where we'll share updates about our learning in school, trips that we go on and any special events that happen in school. We hope that you enjoy reading it. We'd like to use this post to show some of the things Year 2 have been up to in the first few weeks of this half term. Our topic for this half term is dragons. We've enjoyed reading stories about dragons, writing about them and started to make our own dragon eggs in art. We've drawn our own fantasy maps depicting the mysterious worlds that our dragons inhabit. There's also been time to explore the school's brilliant wildlife garden and we've had lots of fun in PE learning new skills and keeping active.
