Over the course of the last half term, not only have the Year 2 children been reading stories about dragons, creating maps about magical dragon lands and writing their own dragon descriptions and stories, they have also been working on some brilliant dragon artwork. The children all designed their dragon eggs to match the type of dragon that they created for their writing, whether that be a sky dragon, a sea dragon or even a jungle dragon. The chose their colours and type of paint accordingly and decorated their paper-mache eggs with bright colours and impressive patterns. Here are some examples of the children's artwork. Be warned...they'll be hatching soon!
