Last week, Year 1 enjoyed a trip to the Tropical Butterfly House. We saw many of the animals that we have been learning about and the children listened to a workshop called scales, fur and feathers. In the workshop, children had the chance to touch the animals and get close to them.

We also watched a bird show and listened to a talk about meerkats. This was followed by a visit inside the butterfly house to finish.
