At the F2 Curriculum Evening, part of the presentation focused on the REAL (Raising Early Attainment in Literacy) Project being piloted this year by Miss Milton and Miss Leyshon. The course will run from October to February and will involve workshops, small group work and year group evenings aimed at demonstrating activities that can be done at home or while you are out and about which will help your child develop their early literacy skills. Though places are limited for the workshops, there will be a chance for all parents to become involved in the larger events. If you think you would like to be involved, there is still time to put your name forward. Please talk to your class teacher if you are interested.
