Over the past few weeks, Class 1 have been listening to Roald Dahl's story George's Marvellous Medicine.  We really enjoyed the story and hearing about all the strange things George put in his pot. As the weather was good, we decided to spend the afternoon outside making our own weird and wonderful mixtures.  We created hot chocolate for dinosaurs, potions for allicorns, acorn pancakes, medicines to make things grow and things to make people go faster.  We also found ways to make our concoctions the colours we wanted and noticed that different ingredients made stripes in our pots.  We even did the washing up afterwards.
