All school meals are cooked fresh on school premises (in our ‘5 star’ hygiene-assessed kitchens) each day by our wonderful catering team. All members of our catering team are employed directly by the school, and our school meals operation is not privately outsourced. This means that the school has a high degree of control over the sourcing and quality of ingredients, the range of meals on offer and the quality of service enjoyed by pupils. Parents and carers can also pop into school at lunchtime to enjoy a school dinner with their child – just ask at the school office for more information.
All school meals, and a morning fruit snack, are provided free of charge for your child as part of the Department for Education’s Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) initiative.
