Feeling Festive
If you have visited school lately, you may have noticed the fantastic displays in the Lower Hall. Each class has taken a Christmas song and created some artwork to go with it. It is always great to see the different ideas and work that the children produce and it always helps to build the festive feeling. If you haven't had a chance to look at the displays yet, try and take a look in the coming week.
International Week 2019!
We hope that everyone enjoyed finding out lots of new things about the world as part of our International Week. It was great fun - finding out all the ways in which we're different, but also all of the ways in which we are the same! Here are a few photographs of our Friday dress-up day, when everyone came to school in clothes from all over the world...
Harvest Festival!
Many thanks to all for your support for our lovely, thought-provoking Harvest Festival Assembly for pupils, which took place here at school on Friday. As you know, our fundraising focus was international and local in nature, with donations (including some from pupil's own piggy banks) collected for 'WaterAid', and an amazing quantity of non-perishable food items donated for distribution to needy families and individuals in Sheffield.
Welcome to our School!
We've been really happy to welcome all of our F2 new starters here at school, who have all been having great fun and have settled in really well!
Lydgfest and Crosspool Festival 2019
Our scarecrows (Betty and Harry) will be making an appearance as part of Crosspool Festival shortly, with 'Lydgfest' (our school's Summer Fair) also taking place from 1pm - 4pm on Saturday 29 June. Come along and find out more about our school - all welcome!
